The Tivoli

Welcome to The Tivoli, a historic gem nestled in the heart of Brisbane. Originally constructed in 1917 as the Adams Bakery, this iconic venue has undergone a remarkable transformation over the years. Once a repository for rare books under the State Library’s stewardship, it was reborn in the wake of Expo ’88 as The Tivoli Restaurant and Theatre.

About

Under the visionary ownership of Ann Gams, inspired by the renowned Paradis Latin in Paris, The Tivoli emerged as a premier cabaret theatre, blending old-world charm with modern entertainment. In 2016, brothers Steve and Dave Sleswick took the helm, preserving its stunning art deco features and rich history.

Today, The Tivoli stands as a testament to Australia’s vibrant cultural scene, hosting an array of musical legends from homegrown heroes like Powderfinger and Paul Kelly to international sensations such as Katy Perry and Bob Dylan. Experience the magic of live performance at one of Australia’s most beloved venues, where every show is a celebration of music, art, and history.
